Kriya (“the App”), developed by Kathanika Entertainment Pvt Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application or visit our website (https://kathanika.xyz).

1. Information We Collect

• No Account Required (v1): You can use the App without creating an account.
• Future Account Access: In future versions, login options via Google, Facebook, or mobile may be introduced. If enabled, we may collect basic profile information (such as name, email, and profile picture).
• Photos & Videos: The App may request access to your media gallery to allow you to add your own photos or videos to quote templates. We do not upload or store your photos/videos on our servers. All processing happens locally on your device.
• Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage information such as app interactions, screens viewed, and general device information to help us improve the App.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide core features of the App (e.g., creating and saving quote templates).
• Enable notifications.
• Analyze anonymized app usage through Firebase Analytics to improve stability, design, and user experience.
• In future updates, we may also use data to enable crash reporting and performance diagnostics (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics) or offer personalized content, premium features, or ads.

3. Permissions We Request

• Gallery Access: To let you select photos or videos for your templates.
• Notifications: To send reminders or app updates.
• Internet: For analytics and future cloud features.

We do not request camera or external storage permissions in the current version unless required for future features.

4. Data Storage & Security

• All photos and videos you use in Kriya remain on your device.
• Analytics data is processed securely by Google Firebase in accordance with their privacy policies.
• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
• If we introduce user accounts or cloud features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect those changes.

5. Third-Party Services

• Firebase Analytics: Used to understand app usage and performance. It may collect device identifiers such as the Advertising ID for non-personalized analytics purposes. Learn more: Firebase Privacy & Security.
• Future Integrations: We may add Firebase Crashlytics or ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob). Any such integrations will follow their respective privacy policies.

6. Advertising ID

Our analytics provider may access the device’s Advertising ID solely for analytics and performance measurement. We do not use this ID for targeted advertising or user profiling.

7. In-App Purchases & Ads

• Current version (v1): The App is free and contains no ads or in-app purchases.
• Future versions: We may introduce premium templates via Google Play Billing or show ads. Details will be updated in this Privacy Policy when applicable.

8. Children’s Privacy

Kriya is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
